Prince Charles and wife Camilla forced to make an "emergency landing", earlier yesterday

Prince Charles and wife Camilla were given quite the mid-air scare earlier today when their helicopter was forced to make an emergency landing,
According to reports, the plane reportedly had more than five people on board in addition to Charles and Camilla.

The couple were approximately 15 minutes into the flight from London to the Hay Literacy Festival in Powys when the chopper encountered a "technical fault," causing the pilot to make a surprise landing at Denham Aerodrome in Buckinghamshire.
Once the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall were safely on the ground, the two boarded cars and continued to their appearance as scheduled.

And despite having quite a frightful morning, the couple greeted the crowd at the festival only a few hours late.
We're glad the two are safe and sound!
