HIJACKED OR CRASHED?? 59 Passengers, 10 Crew Missing as EgyptAir Flight Disappears

EgyptAir flight MS804 travelling from Paris to Cairo has disappeared from the radar, the airline has said. The plane, which took off from Paris' Charles De Gaulle Airport shortly after 11 pm local time on Thursday, had 59 passengers and 10 crew members on board.

According to EgyptAir, the plane disappeared 80 miles (10 minutes) before it entered the Egyptian airspace and 15 minutes before it scheduled landing time in Cairo.

"An informed source at EGYPTAIR stated that Flight no MS804, which departed Paris at 23:09 (CEST),heading to Cairo has disappeared from radar," the airline tweeted.

The plane was travelling at 37,000 feet when it disappeared from radar, fueling serious panic of its fate.

Egyptian officials said search and rescue team have already been sent out.
