As the world celebrated World Cancer Day, a notable NGO on Cancer staged a Walk and Marathon Against cancer with some celebrities including Korede Bello, Stainless Precious, Washington Comedian etc in Abuja over the weekend.
The gathering was held at the exclusive open field of Transcorp Hilton with other volunteer organisations including Amity Global Network, Alexreports, AbujaPress, Leadership Newspaper, NTA etc . Also at the World Cancer Day event was one of the leaders of Abuja NYSC Charity CDS group, Esther Ezenwoye who monitored the exercise. The young hardworking corper visited the Cervical cancer screening centre and inspected some of the medications and preventive drugs displayed at the centre.
Alex Nwankwo the chief editor of AlexReports online media commended the conveners of the cancer projects and promised to attract major partnership including UNICEF, United Nation etc while ensuring his online platforms viral the news.
