As the fourth United Nation Global Road safety week for AWARENESS On ZEBRA CROSSING commences, Amb. Utchay Odims of UNITED NATIONS TOG/ AGE in partnership with FEDERAL ROAD SAFETY CORPS have hit streets and highways of Lagos to kick Off SAVE CROSSING CAMPAIGN.
It was indeed an impressive humanity related activities which recorded a collective turnout of volunteers including star artist Adekunle Gold. The UN Global safety week campaign which runs from 8th - 14th May, 2017 enters vehicles or motorist to slow down or stop and observe the Zebra crossing especially for pedestrians. The activities included painting and repainting of Zebra Lanes, Synposiums, endorsements, Media tour and tweet chats.
Several high profile personalities and celebrities are expected to be part of this campaign as speakers and guest appearances. Some of which are Bryan Okwara (Actor), Uti Nwachukwu (Jara Tv), Belinda Effah (actress), Juliet Ibrahim (Actress), Eddie Watson, Sly Monay, Brycee Bassey and many others. The project which is powered by TOG, Age United Nation, JAUTOS and Love & Relate platform is also open for volunteers and NGOs.
