As children all over the World celebrate the International Children's Day, Imo state potential Gubernatorial aspirant and Member Representing the good People of Isolo/ Oshodi 2 Federal Constituency at the National Assembly Abuja, Hon. Tony Nwulu, has urged parents to ensure utmost care and keen interest in the upbringing of children.
Congratulating the young ones on this year's Children's Day, he noted that children are the future of the nation and our pride therefore, they must be groomed with utmost care and protection of everyone. He further called on Nigerian children to imbibe the habit of honesty and hardwork. The lawmaker also advised them to eschew vices such as greed,indiscipline,disobedience and laziness.
*In His goodwill message issued by His Media Office in commemoration of the ocassion, Hon. Nwulu admonished "children to be obedient, respectful and exhibit good virtues at home and in school. He said this will help the children to achieve their desired academic goals and imbue them with the well-rounded development they need to become successful leaders of tomorrow."
The Lawmaker who showed his love for education following the completion of an executive leadership training from Harvard recently, underscored the potentials of Nigerian children as world leaders in various disciplines, adding that given the right education and environment, they will excel beyond expectations as they are highly talented.
"Children are gift from God, the treat we give them today, remains in their hearts forever, a wise man once said let the little ones come to me, for theirs is the kingdom. Our children are our future, so we must take our commitment to children seriously and ensure that they are properly trained and well taken care of as we prepare them for future leadership of the nation and to equally ensure they avoid bad associations which can corrupt useful habits. ", the statement added.
