On the 5th of May 2018, residents of Jalingo, Taraba state, trooped out enmasse to receive one of their own, Hon. Sulaiman Bakari, as he succumbed to their wishes and declared to contest for the position of House of Representatives( Jalingo, Yorro, Zing Federal Constituency) .

An intelligent young man, an enagmatic leader, with a passion to see his people enjoy the full dividends of good representation, Hon S.B as he is favourably called was moved to tears at the overwhelming support he received from his people.

As he drove by, chants of " SB nandai, MUYISHI KAWAI" filled the air, the young and old, boys and girls could not hold back their joy, it was very obvious, they had patiently waited for this day, the unveiling of the "BLACK & WHITE REVOLUTION" .
The Black & White revolution signifies his desire not to run away from the pertinent challenges that face the constituents but to carry it on his head, and the white symbolizes his peaceful incursion into partisan politics, and the hope for growth and development, which he will bring to his people.

In a time when the clamour for astute young men to take the helm of leadership is rife , the declaration by Hon Suleiman Bakari is timely. A graduate of the prestigious A.B.U Zaria, and one who has also worked at the National Assembly in various capacities and currently as the S.A to Senate President on Anti-Corruption, Hon S.B has both academic and first hand experience of the workings of the National Assembly.
