Manchester City Turns Down Offers For Nigerian Star

Manchester City have refused to sell their young Nigerian import, Chidiebere Nwakali outrightly this summer.

The Premier League champions are, however, willing to approve a sixth consecutive season-long loan for the Nigeria B team international,

The 21-year-old joined the club in 2015 and has been sent out on five occasions on loan to Spanish sides, Malaga and Girona, as well as Norwegian outfits, Ik Start and Sogndal.

The youngster played six months on loan at Scottish side, Aberdeen, and would prefer a permanent move away from the club before the transfer window closes.

Complete Sports reports that there are offers, but Manchester City are demanding for a huge fee for the player which is making it rather difficult for a deal to be agreed.

According to the report, the club wants him to go out on loan again.

Belgian side, KAA Gent and Dutch first division side, NAC Breda were reportedly linked with Chidiebere.

Nwakali is yet to make an appearance for Manchester City since he joined the Citizens.
