The former INC rapper is out of jail and looking good

Jeffrey Atkins, best known by his rap name Ja Rule, was released from Raybrook Correctional Facility after convictions for criminal possession of a firearm and tax evasion. The rapper best known for 2001 hit single "I'm Real" with Jennifer Lopez was received a 2-year sentence on the gun charges plus an additional 28 months for tax evasion. Ja Rule was supposed to be released in July but apparently was released early.

Ja Rule was reportedly picked up after his release by wife Aisha Murray. The couple were headed straight home where Ja Rule will be in home confinement until July 28 when his sentence will be complete.

The rapper was just released from federal prison and it looks like he did a lot of weight lifting while he was in there. A photo that the rapper posted to Instagram shows a much more muscular Ja Rule than fans were used to seeing before his incarceration.
