A pastor in Mpumalanga, South Africa is in hot water for burning a member of his church alive during prayers.
According to the SAPS, a pastor, name with-held, has been arrested for attempted murder for setting a woman, Mrs. Nkosi on fire in order to show everyone the power of God.
During a morning service, the pastor, who was not identified, said that God instructed him to set the woman on fire.
He told the audience that God assured him that the woman will not suffer any injuries.
Nkosi who just joined the church about a month ago was doused with fuel and set on fire.
When she began to scream in pain, members of the church brought water and poured it on the woman.
She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she is said to be in critical condition.
The pastor in his statement to the police said he doesn’t understand why the woman suffered burns as God told him she will not suffer.
Surprisingly, members of the church defended the pastor, saying the woman’s sins caused her to suffer the burns.
The pastor is currently facing a charge of attempted murder.

Why protect the name of this criminal pastor while publishing the name of his victim.
ReplyDeleteThis is like the Nigerian pastor who tried to walk on Crockadile River only to drown and be eaten by three crocs. His congregation could not under stand how it happened because the pator prayed and fasted for a week. Sad and funny, at the same time. There is nothing funny about this story. Lock him up.
