END OF EASTER BREAK: Donatus Okonkwo Urges Nigerians To Apply Lessons Learnt From Christ, As He Marks His Birthday (photos)

Easter may have come and gone, but according to Prince Donatus Okonkwo, the many lessons learnt from it should be allowed to linger long enough to affect our national life positively. The former Anambra State gubernatorial aspirant under APC gave this charge in from Trump International Hotel, in United States Of America, when he had a reception with friends to announce plans for his upcoming 50th birthday celebration.

In the words of the staunch businessman cum politician, "one important lesson which Easter teaches us all is that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. There's a price for every victory. Christ triumphed at the end, and earned eternal glory because he boldly paid the price. This is why Easter is celebrated today. But these crucial lessons must not stop with Easter Sunday and Monday. As a nation of very religious citizens, we must continue to apply these lessons to our national lives, so as to help propel Nigeria to a victorious rise among the committee of nations".

He revealed that activities have been lined up to mark the birthday, and these will take place in 3 countries, including Nigeria (Lagos) and South Africa.
