Federal House of Representative Member and Leading Gubernatorial Aspirant in Imo State in 2019 Election, Hon. Tony Nwulu has called on Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of patience, peaceful co-existence and remain hopeful for a better Nation.
Hon Nwulu, in his Easter message signed by his Media Aide, Alex Nwankwo said such fundamental values would go a long way in promoting and strengthening the foundation of unity, peace and harmony in the country, adding that the season should serve as a reminder to the selflessness, love, sacrifice and tolerance of Jesus Christ throughout His earthly sojourn, his death and his resurrection.
We must therefore see this period as a time that presents us the viable opportunity to steer our nation back on the path to peace, stability and prosperity, by working in the spirit of togetherness, avoiding crimes, becoming good ambassadors of the nation and remaining hopeful for a better tomorrow, Hon Nwulu said.
Several Crisis like the Farmers & Herdsmen face-off and many others have threaten the unity of our great Nation but this season offers us the best opportunity to overcome those challenges by loving ourselves despite religious and tribal differences, Nwulu added.
He therefore urges all leaders in the country to emulate the Christ-like attribute of promise keeping, as this was an example laid down by Christ two thousands years ago, while he called on the Good people of Imo State especially the pensioners to remain optimistic and not to lose faith because his administration will proffer solutions to all problems currently faced by imolites.
Hon Nwulu commended the good people of Oshodi-Isolo2 federal constituency of Lagos State for their continued demonstration and promotion of mutual understanding and peaceful co-existence in spite of their existing ethnic, cultural and religious diversities in the community.
He wishes all Nigerians, a Happy celebration!
