Presidential Aspirant Thomas-Wilson Ikubese Reacts To Buhari's Apology To MKO.

THIS PRESIDENTIAL APOLOGY...

"On behalf of the Federal Government, I tender the nation's apology to the family of the Late MKO Abiola, who got the highest votes in the June 12, 1993 election; and to all those who lost their loved ones in the cause of the June 12 struggle" ...President Muhammadu Buhari

"Apology accepted, Mr President.

However, the greatest honour you can do the memory of MKO Abiola, Gani Fawehinmi and all those  who lost their lives sequel to that annulment, is to let the life of your administration reflect the Spirit of equity, "free and fairness" that these martyrs lived and died for.

Ekiti state election is around the corner, you must allow INEC conduct a free and fair election, devoid of "federal might". The electorates must not be induced with money!

The coming 2019 Presidential election should reflect the true wish of the people, untainted.

Security agencies should not wait for your body language to carry out their statutory responsibilities and their primary allegiance should be to the Nigerian state and not to you.

Court judgements should be obeyed and not explained away.

Appointments into positions should be equitable, widespread, based on merit, without nepotism.

Perceived political opponents should not be robed.

Looters of our commonwealth should not be shielded once they cross over to your party.

Security of lives and property should not be politicised.

Your apology is accepted Mr President, but it will be tantamount to a Greek gift, except the life of your administration reflects the Spirit of June 12!!!"

Dr Thomas-Wilson Ikubese
Presidential Aspirant,
Alliance for New Nigeria.
