The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema says he's ashamed of being a South African because of the recent spate of attacks against foreign nationals in the country.
Malema while reacting to recent attacks on foreigners, he said South Africa is a country for all and called for an end to xenophobic violence.
"Whether you are from South Africa, whether you are from Zimbabwe, whether you are from Nigeria - this is your home."
He also dismissed claims that foreigners were taking South Africans' jobs.

His words were:
"There are no jobs in South Africa because whites are refusing to invest money in South Africa, they've got too many savings in the bank."
"When it is a white person in South Africa undocumented it's called an investor, including Indians and Chinese.....Self hate must come to an end!"
Africa we are one, Nigerians are our brothers. Let's be tolerant.
