Court grants interim forfeiture order on 23 properties linked to Maina

A Federal High Court in Abuja has granted an interim forfeiture order on 23 landed properties traced to the embattled former boss of Presidential Taskforce on Pension Reforms Committee, Abdurasheed Maina.

Justice Folasade Giwa-Ogunbanjo granted the order on Tuesday after hearing a motion ex-parte by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

The application was moved by SM Abubakar under section 17(1) of the EFCC Act.
