All Soludo Support Group Oyi Chapter Celebrates Governorship Election Victory

After months of hard work to see to the successful election of Professor Chukwuma Soludo, it was a time of merriment and counting of blessings, for those that toiled.


That was exactly what the All Soludo Support Group ASSG, Oyi Chapter did, after their Patron, Professor Chukwuma Soludo was elected as Governor in the just concluded governorship election in Anambra State.


The event tagged “Rejoice with the Anambra State Governor-Elect”, was attended by many prominent members of the party, in the Local Government Area led by the state Commissioner for Trade and Commerce, Mr. Uchenna Okafor who paid glowing tribute to members and thanked God for the victory.

Appreciating the people of the area for speaking with one voice, Commissioner Okafor extolled them for their unalloyed support and their thirst for quality and assured them that Professor Soludo whose reputation is outstanding will surpass their expectations , asking them to remain united with a view to assisting one another in all aspects of life.


The National Chairman, All Soludo Support Groups, Mr Chinedu Nwoye in his speech thanked the people of Oyi for their commitment and zeal in advocating  good governance with quality representative, assuring them of inclusiveness while appealing for continuous support for the APGA led administration.

The Chairman of All Soludo Support Group in Oyi Council, Mr. Emma Nweke, said that they were the brain behind the victory of Professor Soludo as they piloted the demand after it was conceived in 2019 and appealed to  him to aspire for higher political position.


While thanking members of the local government who contributed to the success of the movement, Mr. Nweke pointed out that the gathering is evidence of their hard work.


The National Woman Leader of Soludo Support Group, Mrs. Theresa Okoye, praised people living with disability in the local government council for showing determination to participate in the electoral process and fulfilling their civic responsibilities as Ndi Anambra for a better society.
