Call For Registration Of Fashion Designers, Models
The Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation, NTDC, FCT Social Development Secretariat, Federal Ministry of Trade and Investment as well as Tour Nigeria and other notable organizations have endorsed the 2022 African Fashion and Arts Exhibition.
The event will also feature an award night where stakeholders and friends of the industry who have contributed to its development will be recognized.
The exhibition organised by the African Fashion & Arts Award (AFAA) is open to fashion designers and artists.
AFAA in a release at the weekend therefore implores all fashion designers to register in order to participate at the exhibition grand finale expected to take place in Abuja September.
AFAA says this project is an opportunity for creative youths to leverage on the modern technology infused in the industry to achieve self-reliance.
It is also expected to promote Intra-African trade and business relationships in the areas of Fashion and Arts.
According to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), of AFAA, Mr. Kingsley Amako the 3-Day engaging events which will hold from 23rd to 25th September 2022 in Abuja was put together to harness the inherent talents of the average African youth with regards to fashion and Arts.
He therefore encouraged local and Foreign Government Officials, Diplomatic communities, Commissions, MDA’s, Foreign Brand Reps, Foreign Language centers, Investors, Art collectors and Fashion enthusiasts to key into the initiative birthed by REXENUM Consults and exhibit their brands.
Amako said the initiative will be a driving tool for economic development, while creating opportunities and platforms for emerging fashion entrepreneurs, Musicians, Creative Visual Artists, models, Actors, Painters, Sculptors, Writers, Poets and Podcasters etc.
Registrations are open for interested fashion designers to participate as well as calls for Models: Men & Women Ages 18 - 55yrs Kids: 4 - 12yrs
