It was an interesting light table sit-out as reigning Miss FCT Nigeria and Miss FCT International hosted friends and families to their first public outing with an exclusive breakfast at Chelsea hotel, Abuja.
The pageant which was held in October last year at Sheraton Hotel has seen the winners operating on low key without media attention decided to officially kick start the activities of the organisation with this gathering.
19 year old undergraduate of University of Calabar Dan Mira Olofu who emerged the reigning Miss FCT Nigeria was all excited with the turnout of selected friends for the brief breakfast sit-out for her first organisation's social gathering after the grand finale. The benue state born beauty queen who is preparing to flag-off her pet - project "POT"- Project Off the Streets, aimed at empowering youths with talents on the streets with the agenda " Shoot Camera Not Guns" will not leave any stone unturned to achieve that
Speaking to a media outfit at the venue, the manager Evelyn said the reason behind this is to unite the brand again after the Queen's long absence while in school. She noted that because of the delay in commencing her activities of the year as a result of last year rigorous election processes and change of grand finale date, the brand with not host this 2016 edition as the winners will continue with their reign.

‎The first runner up, Alero Costance Ummi who emerged Miss FCT International 2016 will be embarking on IDP project starting with Benue state IDP camps which came about as a result of Fulani massacre at the Agatu community. The 27 year old Delta state beauty queen is a graduate of International management from university of West England in Bristol. She currently works as business Consultant in Reslarc Group Nigeria LTD, Abuja
A surprise appearance at the breakfast at the exclusive restaurant of Chelsea hotel is Alex Nwankwo, chief editor of AlexReports who was recently discharged from the hospital after the near fatal accident that left him on bed for over 3 weeks.
