COUNTDOWN: Anambra APC Frontline Aspirant Okonkwo Stirs Up Delegates As Buhari Arrives Abuja (photos)

As the Anambra Frontline APC Aspirant Prince Donatus Okonkwo continued his total takeover tour in Onitsha North and South Local government, the atmosphere was charged with the announcement of President Buhari's arrival to Abuja. The venue of the gathering erupted with overwhelming excitement as the delegates from both local governments celebrated his arrival to Nigeria after 3 months of medical check up in London hospital.

‎Addressing the cross section of delegates, Okonkwo stated that the APC spirit is lifted with the news of the President's return. He stressed that the enemies of the party and the government have been put to shame especially with their hate speeches and negative stories surrounding the President' health. According him " I am particularly happy to know that Mr President is back, we are all humans and we are bound to fall sick, but the good thing is that we recover. Even in his absence the administration has been pulling giant strides with regards to the impecable roles of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on the helm of Affairs. As We welcome President Muhammedu Buhari, I urge the delegates not to sell their votes instead support a man with conscience and that is God fearing during the APC primaries"

The Ojoto Businessman who had standing ovation during his speech buttessed on the need to identify with original APC members and aspirants. " don't lose sight of the fact that some of the aspirants throwing around money are not original APC members. They vowed to buy off the delegates but I tell you it will become a case of use and dump"

Onitsha North and South delegates who spoke commended Okonkwo for his unique approach in the exercise especially his different style of politicking which uncommon among other APC aspirants they have seen. They further applauded him for having his wife's presence at the gathering, which they said is a moral boaster to the women group.
