The People of Imo state seems to have started reaping the benefits of the partnership between the Imo State Government and Dana Air.
Heartland fc of Owerri, the official team of Imo state and currently the National League leaders, Saturday; flew Dana Air from Owerri to Lagos ahead of the team's match against ikorodu united in Lagos. This according to sources is part of the existing partnership between Dana Air and the state government.
Since the inauguration of the partnership, the airline has been in the forefront of community development initiatives in the state as well as supporting Youth empowerment and humanitarian drives in the state. The most recent on the list of its CSR was its support for Elfreeda Foundation, a non governmental organisation committed to providing shelter and basic needs to the poor and needy in the society.
The Team returned this morning after stealing a point against ikorodu united In Lagos and expressed gratitude to the management of the airline for the 'wonderful' flight experience.
Earlier in the year, the Imo State Government entered into a partnership with Dana Air to launch Imo Air operated by Dana Air, as part of efforts by the state government to diversify the economy of the state, create jobs and boost tourism in the state.

The airline which recently joined the International Air Transport Association IATA, is reputed for its on-time performance, innovative online products and world-class in-flight service
