Hon. Tony Nwulu, the house of rep member representing Oshodi/Isolo constituency in Lagos state and initiator of \'Not Too Young to Run Bill\' and the YIAGA team were received by Vice President Yemi Osibanjo at the presidential villa yesterday.
The reception was indeed warm, fulfilling and engaging as Vice President Osibanjo assures the presidential assention of the bill, after presentations from the team on its essence to Nigeria as a democratic nation.
Before now, Hon. Tony has been adept in engaging the advancement of youth inclusiveness and participation in governance; this indeed are the core values of \'not too young to run bill\'.
However, in his cravings for a better Nigeria, Hon. Tony took the bull by the horn to lead a group of supporters to the villa few weeks ago to clamour for the presidential assent of \'not too young to run bill\'. His public show of humility during the rally captured passersby, as the honourable member joined supporters to sit on the ground, under the sun for hours until their voices where heard.
Therefore, with the adoption of the bill by over 34 state house of assemblies, it is certain that the bill will receive presidential assent soon.
While reacting to the visit, Hon. Tony captured the moments to encourage Nigeria youths, he challenged them to leave up to their responsibilities as leaders of today in all spheres of life; as public office holders, leaders, fathers, professionals and what have you.
The honourable member and Imo state gubernatorial aspirant, is indeed a voice to the voiceless Nigeria youths; a hope for the present situation of despair, and the future a better Nigeria.
