Barr. Nazeef Babaji Giade emerges NNPP candidate for the Shira/Giade federal constituency, after polling 147 votes, to win his fellow contestant, Eng. Ahmed Yusuf, who polled 5 votes at the primary elections of the party.
The primary elections, according to the emerged candidate, was successfully conducted to sustain the credibility, integrity and Democratic might of the party. Barr. Nazeef Babaji told newsmen that he would go extra mile to ensure that the he secures the green chambers for his party ahead of the general elections in Bauchi state.
Party delegates have applauded their candidates, stating that Barr. Nazeef, was a perfect candidate and a true nationalist who can represent the the party at any level. Stressing on the matter, a delegate told our reporter, that the elected candidate for the matter is a sincere Democrats who is capable of piloting the affair of the party to fruition.
However, the chairman of the primary election committee of NNPP who submitted and announced the result, has called on party members to be vibrant and diligent, stating that there is a great task ahead.
