QIOP FOUNDATION DISTRIBUTES 2000 TREATED MOSQUITO NETS IN ABUJA.



The historic donation of over 2000 mosquito treated nets to women in rural areas, by Queen Irene Onwuka foundation has ignited the flame of humanitarian advancement for Nigeria and Africa. According to observers, the 3day project by Queen Irene and her team, was indeed remarkable.



The founder and president of the foundation, Queen Irene Onwuka, told reporters that the day one donation of over 700 treated mosquito nets to women in Jahi 1district of Abuja was significant to the fight against malaria in Nigeria. She stressed that the day two and three visitation to Mabushi village was in view if the provisional responsibility of the foundation to improve and sustain good health in the West Africa region.


Over time, QIOP Foundation is renowned for its innovative vibes in charity works, peace advocacy, empowerment, security and social welfare, women and children Advocacy, health awareness, physically challenged care, gender advocacy, amongst others.


The collaborative efforts by United Nations Women, to support the activities of Queen Irene Foundation, has aided its responsive impacts in the chase for sustainable development goals(SDGs) in Nigeria. 


The humanitarian gesture of free treated medical nets to over 2000 beneficiaries was gladly appreciated. Some participants had tears on their faces as they expressed gratitude to the Queen Irene and her team. They received the relief materials in bliss and hope.
