"The Struggle For a Better Nigeria Must Continue" - TONY NWULU SPEAKS ON NIGERIA 58TH INDEPENDENCE.

Hon. Tony Nwulu, the UPP Imo governorship candidate has called on Nigerians to be hopeful, united, strong and optimistic, regardless of the countless challenges of corruption, gender inequality, infant maternal mortality, unemployment, local propaganda politics driven by violence and a lot more.

He made the pronouncements this morning during his Independence day speech at Abuja. He stressed on true nationalism and the earnest sacrifices of our fore fathers, who stood against western dependency, but fought tirelessly for national independence on October 1st 1960, which we proudly celebrate today.


While reacting to the historic 58th independence day anniversary, Hon. Nwulu, says "as we remember everything wrong in Nigeria, let us not fail to take comfort in the good of the land. In the "greeness" of the Nigeria. I choose to look forward to  the silver lining, that will herald a new and better country, governed by honesty, truth and justice".

The Imo state born politician and House Member Representing, Oshodi/Isolo federal constituency in Lagos state, stressed that the journey to a better Nigeria must continue, in his words, he says, "we must find the courage to change and make difficult, but necessary decisions and never forget the initial ideals which led our forefathers in our  birth as a Nation.

Hon. Tony warned the people of Imo state and the entire nation against despair, stating that someday, Nigeria will be the front-runner of true democracy in Africa and the world over.


The UPP governorship candidate captured the opportunity to caution Nigerians and Imolites against  being used by irate politicians in the forthcoming elections for antidemocratic causes.

In his concluding words, the UPP Imo governorship candidate thanked every Nigerian who has kept faith so far. "HAPPY 58TH BIRTHDAY TO US" he ended.
