Imo 2019:UPP Guber Candidate, Nwulu Set To Unveil Running Mate

In a renewed zeal to take Imo State away from  despair to the pinnacle of economic rejuvenation, the UPP governorship candidate in Imo State, Hon.Tony Nwulu and the leadership of the party have opted for an expert in the banking, Oil and gas sector as Nwulu's running mate.

The running mate, this newspaper learnt will be unveiled at a colorful ceremony be held in Owerri at the weekend.

Inside sources close to the UPP governorship candidate revealed that the running mate has cut his teeth in Nigeria's booming oil and gas industry and also proved his mettle in the banking sector having made huge contributions to the growth and rapid advancement of Nigeria's financial system.

One of Imo 's finest, an unsung man of immense accomplishment, the UPP governorship running mate sits on the board of blue chip companies in the country and beyond. He is also a financial engineer, a first class economist and social entrepreneur.He has also made far reaching in road in the Agriculture sector and Real Estate

A scholar who shares Hon Nwulu's vision that Imo State has no business to be classified a State where despondency and a stagnant economy has been the ordeal of the people in the last twenty tears.

Like Nwulu, his running mate is a product of Harvard who have see change as a major instrument to change the fortunes of the people. He is also a philanthropist.

A source close to the Mezie Imo movement, Hon. Nwulu's campaign organization, told this newspaper that a time Imo State is at cross roads only a perfect combination between Hon Nwulu as Governor  who has made a bold statement in Nigeria's political advancement by initiating the Not Too Young To Run Act, which encourage active youth involvement in governance, and a running mate with so much to offer to re- direct the economy of the State, will give Imo State a new direction
