2019 ELECTIONS: INEC, ACTIVISTS, POLITICAL ACTORS JOIN VOICE OUT VANGUARD ON VOTE RIGHT CAMPAIGN, CALL FOR PEACEFUL EXCERSISE


The non-partisan, advocacy and campaign organisation, Voice Out Vanguard has launched out it's newest initiative, tagged "Vote Right Campaign". According to the Convener, Ms Stella Whyte Okhueleigbe Ebosetale, the campaign aims at promoting transparency in leadership, peaceful electioneering process and youth participation in politics.

The December 8th flagoff of Vote Right Campaign by Voice Out Vanguard was held in Jos, Plateau state and it witnessed the guest appearance of political candidates, stakeholders, trade and labour organisations, pressure groups, opinion leaders, youth groups, student Union and religious groups.

The timely event campaign had speakers like Mallam Halilu - Pai-INEC REC
COMR, Steve Aluko-Director civil liberties organization, Kkadijah Gambo-Commisioner, Kaduna state Peace Commision, Luka Panpe- DG Research, NGGG, Mary Izam and Sani suleiman who spoke emphatically on why Nigerians and youths should vote; the qualities of a good leader we should vote for and how to go about voting.

While speaking at the campaign flagoff, the commissioner of Education, who represented Plateau state Governor, Simon Bako Lalong highlighted the key importance of youths participation in politics, stressing that plateau state indegenes must embrace peaceful coexistence so as to enable development strive in the North Central zone.

The event, according to observers, participants, guests and invitees applauded the initiative of  Queen Stella Whyte, through the Voice Out Vanguard, stating that the campaign was a timely development and proactive innovation for true democracy in our nation.

Ms Okhueleigbe Ebosetela is an ex-beauty Queen, humanitarian and Social Advocate who is working out the time to ensure that Nigeria walks in the path of good governance, effective leadership and sustainable development through proactive initiatives and innovative ideas. The soft spoken and vibrant lady is also the founder of Stella Whyte Foundation.
