The Imo state UPP governorship candidate, Hon. Tony Nwulu and his running mate, Nnaemeka Obiaraeri, have moved their campaign train to Okigwe, where he met with local chiefs, youth groups and other sociopolitical associations in Imo state.

Hon. Tony Nwulu took his campaign to Okigwe yesterday to relate his "Mezie Imo" Initiative to residents in the community. He called on the youths, women and elders to vote for a good and better leadership, which he promised to deliver.

Before now, the UPP candidate has done remarkably well by initiating several projects to promote development in Imo state, which includes unveiling of the free transport scheme aimed at alleviate the untold difficulty Owerri commuters undergo in transportation, subsidized healthcare projects for pregnant women and children, establish of bilateral trade relationship with the European Union, China and other countries across the globe.

The people of Imo state have continued to throw their supports behind Hon. Tony Nwulu, stating that he remains the youngest and most promising Governorship candidate in Imo state.

With his responsive mandate, visionary perceptions and strategic development plans, the people of Okigwe have welcomed him and are ready to do everything possible at ensuring that he come out victorious at the poll.

While speaking with Odum Ikedi, head of a youth group in Okigwe, he says, "we are voting Hon. Tony at the polls, because is an idealist, a youth oriented leader and the devoted astute politician".

Recently, several traditionalists, clergymen and spiritualist have prophessed the emergence of Hon. Tony as the next Governor of Imo state.
