The People's Democratic Party Candidate for Oyi/Ayamelu Federal Constituency in Anambra state, Barrister Ofumelu Vincent Ofumelu has emerged winner, as the INEC returning officer confirmed it after announcing the results.
Barrister Ofumelu of the People's Democratic Party emerged winner in very critical competitive ambience with APC, APGA and other parties which were very visible in the state. But he stood out victorious because he was indeed the interest of his people.
Party Faithfuls, supporters, followers, social and political groups, as well as family members have made their way to the residence of their new representation in the green Chambers of the national Assembly.
According to Barrister Vincent Ofumelu, his victory was indeed precedented, because he had always been the choice of the people in Oyi/Ayamelu Federal Constituency in Anambra state.
He also expressed gratitude to everyone who made out time to exercise their franchise by electing him. He promised to deliver the best representation to his people, through transparency, accessibility, inclusiveness and collaborative participation.
