The 2019 edition of the most anticipated reality show in Nigeria has taken many twists and turns in the last few weeks
Big Brother held its first highly publicized offline audition ever on the 1st and 2nd of February. The audition which was perceived as a ploy to garner partners and multinational awareness had millions of people turn out at the various locations of Lagos, Abuja, Warri, Benin, Port Harcourt and Enugu.
Big Brother has announced another 'first' since its inception. There's going to be another audition, but this time, it would be strictly online to give more people the opportunity of a lifetime to attain stardom and fame. A lot of people are very excited and hopeful about this new development.
Bet Naija, Africa's foremost betting platform, is the major sponsor of the 2019 edition of Big Brother Naija. Bet Naija has also introduced another twist to the show. It has announced that Big Brother housemates this year would only be qualified to enter the house based on the number of votes garnered from the masses.
The online audition entails aspirants to submit a two minute video introducing themselves and why they deserve to be in the house. Only one housemate will be chosen from the online audition. The criteria for selection is that the aspirant must be an active DSTV or GOTV user. The online audition will be held for 3 days, after which the audience will vote for their favourite.
