The House of Representative Member Elect for Oyi/Ayamelum Federal Constituency in Anambra State, Barrister Ofumelu Vincent Ekene today, Thursday 14th march 2018 received his certificate of return as the winner for the just concluded 2019 general election in Nigeria.
According to the INEC, 102 senators-elect got their certificates from 10am and 338 would-be House of Representatives members were issued theirs from 2:00pm at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.
Honourable Ofumelu who arrived the venue with his entourage, spoke with NTA and other media organizations on his plans for his constituency after receiving his certificate of Return. He promised to engage adept projects on education, skills acquisition, youth/women empowermemt and other socioeconomic program to further promote holistic development across all LGAs in the Constituency.
He also expressed appreciation to all those in the Constituency that made out time to exercise their franchise in favour of his victory at the just concluded elections.
Barrister Ofumelu Vincent reiterated how grateful he was, especially with the reception he received across all LGAs in the Constituency. He stressed on his dedicated commitment to true and active representation for the Oyi/Ayamelum Federal Constituency in Anambra.
