The federal Capital city was literally lit up recently when Generally Speaking took centre stage at the prestigious Transcorp Hilton. It was fun galore as the comedians on the bill led by Ali baba made sure they cracked so many ribs at the star- studded show.
The 4th edition of the show recorded ground-breaking attendance as the hall was filled to capacity.
A fusion of Abuja based comedians and Lagos based artists held the audience spell-bound throughout the show. Abuja arts such as MC 3310, Koboko Master, MC Tagwaye etc performed and the audience screamed with delight.
One after the other, the Lagos comedians including Okey Bakasi, Gordons, AY comedian, Seyilaw FunnyBone and the sensational Kenny Black, came on stage to thrill the guests. The Legendary Ali Baba , Nigeria's formost King Of Comedians was ushered onto the stage amidst loud cries of excitement from his teeming fans.
It was indeed an emotional scenerio when Chuks De General brought his parents on stage and clamoured for him to get married. Both parents entertained the crowd with their quest for him to get a wifd while thanking the guests for therir support for their son and influence in his life especially in his journeys to the top.
One of the high points of the event was the financial support to the parent by popular senator Dino Melaye and the surprise introduction of artist Harrysong on stage which sent some of the guests into wide excitement.
