In pictures, Nollywood actors protest against killings in Nigeria

Nollywood actors under the aegis of 'Concerned Actors And Seasoned Nollywoood Stars' are raising their voice against the incessant killings in the North as well as other parts of Nigeria.

The group, led by veteran actor and former president of Actor's Guild of Nigeria, Ejike Asiegbu, at a rally in Lagos, decried the killings, which they described as a 'horror movie'

Asiegbu in a statement, berated politicians for turning their back against the people they swore to protect.
He said actors would no longer fold their hands and watch politicians continue with their nefarious activities that have brought untold sorrow and blood to numerous families.

The veteran actor urged the people behind the killings in the country to see reason and stop it. 

Chair of AGN Lagos chapter, Moji Oyetayo, veteran Nollywood stars such as Paul Obazele, Sonny McDon, Emeka Ossai, Frank Dallas, Uche Anyamele and producers Chico Ejiro, Zeb Ejiro, Wisdom Nwankwo, Tony Ani, Mike Nliam were present.

Other actors and filmmaker in attendance are Hakeem Rahman, Bukky Ogunote, Emama Ikwue, Ngozi Iruanya, Ben Nwachukwu, Obi Osotule, Maurice Ejike, Ifeanyi Ezekwe, Collins Onwuche, Lucky Imueko, Henry Osemwegie, Joseph Mbachu, Aham Ekenyere, Chucky Egbu and Angela Philips.
