Senator- Elect Ned Nwoko Gets Standing Ovation At Inauguration Ceremony of Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa

The inauguration Ceremony of His Excellency, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, noticed a different mood when the Senator Elect Delta North Senatorial Constituency, Hon. Ned Nwoko appeared at the inauguration. 

The presence of Ned Nwoko witnessed a loud applause and standing ovation from the massive crowd at the event. Speaking with correspondence,  Senator Elect  Ned Nwoko congratulated the re-election of Governor Okowa and the successful leadership which his government delivered  since 2015.

Nwoko stressed that Governor Ifeanyi Okowa was a rare gem, a leader per excellence and a devoted astute Politician. However, the Delta North Senator-Elect has remained committed to ensuring the the unabated progress of the Delta State.

As a Member of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Ned had initiated and completed several projects on empowerment, employment, infrastructural developments, and social welfare development projects. Few days ago he redeemed his 20million naira pladge to 20 first class students in the state, as commitment to his undaunted support for education and youth empowerment in Delta

Infact his antecedents has earned him several awards and recognition, both in the state and across Nigeria. He was recently with an award in South Africa and also decorated with the Prestigious "Who is Who Awards which was hosted at Transcorp Hilton Abuja, amongst other meritorious awards he has received in recent times.

Prince Ned Nwoko, a lawyer, politician and veteran businessman, was born in December 21st, 1960 in Idumuje-Ugboko, Aniocha North LGA, Delta State.

An alumnus of the University of Keele (England), Kings College and University of London, where he majored in Insurance, Maritime, Company and Commercial Law.

Nwoko represented Aniocha North-South and Oshimili North-South of Delta State in the House of Representatives between 1999 and 2003.
