Full List: Names of 43 Buhari’s ministers

Published on

President Muhammadu Buhari has sent his ministerial list to the Nigerian Senate.

Mr Buhari, who won his re-election bid in February, has been criticised for failing to name his cabinet after being sworn-in on May 29.

His failure to appoint ministers for about six months was said to have caused the economy to go into recession in 2016.

Transmitting the list to the Senate, the president increased the number of the nominees to 43 from the 36 they were during his first term.
