The most anticipated award ceremony of National Peace Awards may have delved into an overheated development as prominent Nollywood Actors and Actresses are left in the faith of the masses to decide who amongst the selected few will be honored with the "Most Peaceful Actor and Actress of the Year".
The National Peace Awards will recognise and honour outstanding individuals and institutions across various sectors that has contributed earnestly to peace and humanity in Nigeria. The event will be held at Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja tonight, 5th of July, 2019.
It is indeed an occasion that will be graced with the presence of high profile personalities and dignitaries at federal, state, public and private agencies in Nigeria.
Amongst the awardees are Nigeria First Lady, Aisha Buhari, Goodluck Jonathan, Abdulsalam Abubakar etc. Others are nominated Actress for the "Most Peaceful Actress of the Year in Nigeria" are Funke Akindele, Mercy Johnson Okojie, Monalusa Chinda, Genevieve Nnaji, Chief Dr. Ejiro Okurame, Stephanie Okereke Linus, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Ini Edo, Halima Atete and Jamila Umar Nagudu.
The "Most Peaceful Actor in Nigeria" categories has the nomination of Actors like Segun Arinze, Zack Orji, Ali Nuhu, Sani Danga, Ramsey Noah, Hon.Desmond Eliot and Emeka Rollas.
