NWOKO VS NWABOSHI: Supreme Court Adjourns Ruling As Hon. Ned's Supporters Express Optimism (photos/video)

The victory of Delta South Senatorial election may be yet undecided as the Supreme Court in Abuja has today the 9th of July adjourned the ruling on the case between Hon. Ned Nwoko and Peter Nwaboshi to Tuesday, 16th July 2019 in view of the judgment by the Court of Appeal that unjustly declared Peter Nwaboshi winner as against the initial federal High court ruling that declared Hon. Ned Nwoko as the rightly elected choice of the people.

According to the team of Hon. Ned Nwoko led by Dr. Mike, who was accompanied by massive supporters who made their way to the court to support their proposed senator-elect, Hon. Ned Nwoko, he noted that it was indeed unfortunate that an aspirant is imposed and eventually announced winner of an election he never merited.

Stressing that the Apex court ruling may be delayed but would not deny Hon. Ned Nwoko his outright justice as the Senator-elect with strict consideration on the democratic decision of the people during the PDP primary elections held in Delta South Senatorial zone in Delta state.

Upon verifiable records, Hon. Ned Nwoko was duely elected winner of the PDP primary elections with 453 votes, leading Senator Peter Nwaboshi, who barely scored 405 votes. But haplessly, Senator Nwaboshi was suddenly announced as the candidate of the party as against the constitutional provisions of the law.

On this grounds, the high court nullified the victory of Sen. Peter and immediately insisted that INEC issues the certificate of return to Hon. Ned Nwoko, which till date has continued to float on the waters of delayed justice. The people of Delta South Senatorial zone have called on the Apex court to grant justice in favor of their interest, stating that Hon. Ned Nwoko be declared winner and Senator of Delta South Federal Constituency in Delta state
