Ongoing Senator Uche Ekwunife's free medical outreach across 58 communities, 7LGA's of Anambra Central records turnout, treatment successes

The 12 day medical outreach facilitated by the Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Senator Uche Ekwunife for Anambra Central communities has so far recorded impressive turnout and treatment successes.

The outreach which began on the 13th of December 2019 with key areas of focus such as: Malaria Treatment; Eye and Dental Check/Minor Treatment; Free Vital Signs Test; Hypertension test and treatment; Diabetes Mellitus & Obesity treatment; Communities Deworming Program (Helminthes Infection Treatment); Health Education Seminars on HIV/AIDS and Helminthes Infection & Tuberculosis treatment was designed to offer free medical care to constituents across the 58 communities of the Senatorial zone.

The free medical programme has so far recorded treatment and issuing of appropriate  drugs and aids to constituents who visited the outreach centres situated in their various communities.

The outreach programme which will last until 24th December 2019 is a special yuletide gift from the Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District. It is targeted at improving the health status of constituents.
