44 Days in the prison, Uzor Kalu cries for help

The Former governor of Abia State and the Chief Whip of the 9th Senate Orji Uzor Kalu, who was sentenced to 12 years in prison bordering on N7.2 billion fraud and money laundering Federal High Court in Lagos has cried for help.

Kalu's post conviction bail application on medical grounds was rejected few days to Christmas.

Friends, family and close associates, who have visited the Abia born politician in prison confirmed that the jail term came to him as a rude shock and yet to come to terms with it.

He has called for help in other to secure a bail condition not minding the cost as he believes the jail term may be the end of his career.
