Lawmakers of the House of Representatives has voted against the purchase and use of Innoson Sports Utility Vehicles [SUVs] as their official vehicles.
The lawmakers took the decision in a voice vote following a motion seeking to make Innoson their standard vehicles for members' oversight.
The rejection cast a bad light on efforts by the Federal Government to boost made-in Nigeria products as it refused to patronise locally made vehicles.
