Amidst COVID-19 Fears, Traditional Ruler Holds Coronation (Photos)

A social media user, Ajos David has lashed  out at Chief Pereama Freetown for choosing today to hold his installation as Nono Pere II of Izon_ebe Kingdom of Bayelsa state.

Taking to Facebook, Ajos wondered how inconsiderate it is for the traditional ruler to throw caution to the winds and hold coronation ceremony with several people in attendance, amidst COVID-19 lock down.

He wrote;

“Of all the days in the Calender and in the wake of the outbreak of a deadly Virus threatening humans,this reckless and unruly individual, Chief Pereama Freetown
chose today for his Coronation as the Nomo Pere II of Izon_ebe Kingdom of Bayelsa State.

“Bayelsa is a neighboring State to Delta State and what happens there should be properly checkmated so that some idiots who attended the ceremony will not transport this deadly disease to the State.
