Gunmen kidnap Bauchi Governor’s brother

Unknown gunmen have reportedly kidnapped Adamu Mohammed, the older brother to the Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed.

It was gathered that Adamu was kidnapped at about 7.39 pm at Unguwar Jaki area of the state metropolis and taken to an unknown destination.
The kidnappers are yet to speak or call his family.

A reliable source at the Government House who confirmed the incident to DAILY POST, disclosed that efforts were
on to trace the hideout of the kidnappers.
All efforts by our reporter to get Bauchi State Police Command to confirm the development proved abortive.
The PPRO, DSP Kamal Datti Abubakar did not answer calls put through his mobile phone.

The incident is coming after Governor Bala Mohammed tested positive for coronavirus.
The Governor had called for calm, adding that he is in good health and not showing any symptoms.
