Nigeria Computer Professional Roseline Obianuju Says FG Can Create 100million Jobs Through ICT

The 2020 National Policy and Development(N-POD) Summit, themed "Actualizing The Next Level Agenda", held in Abuja on the 5th of March at the African Hall, International Conference Center(ICC) recorded significant contributions on strategic road maps to achieve fruition in actualizing the nation's agenda. 

The event witnessed the presence of his Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari who was represented by the Permanent Secretary, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Andrew David, Hon. Minister of Defence, Major General Bashir S. Magashi and high leveled representations from notable national and international agencies across Nigeria and Africa.

Amongst some of the significant suggestions was the unique strategies and concepts presented by Roseline Obianuju Ebunobi, a young innovative computer engineering professional and social entrepreneur. Her presentation buttressed on technological strategies that can create over 100million jobs, which is one amongst others in the national visions of the next level agenda.

She noted during her presentation at the 2020NPOD Summit that her partnership with the office of the Senior Special Assistance to the President on Policy Development and Analysis would further support the provision of employment for youths and improvement technological developments across Nigeria, with enviable influence across all sectors in the country.

She went further spotlighting the importance of capacity development programs, as a platform through which young persons can be equipped with relevant skills. Roseline Obianuju Ebunobi also encouraged youths to concentrate on value and explore the gainful opportunities in the cyber space, instead of engaging in crime and fallible activities.

In her strides of supporting human capacity building, She founded the Roseline Ebunobi Foundation (REF), an empathy-driven non-for-profit organization, focused on providing access to equal opportunities for women and young persons in our communities. In this regard she has been able to develop solutions to real-life problems and offer young people access to learning, digital skills acquisitions, entrepreneurship skills. She is a team member of Project 1000 Innovation Hub Initiative.
