Dr. Godwin Maduka has been adjudged to be the best aspirant, fit to be elected as governor of Anambra State in the 2021 gubernatorial elections - (Public Opinion).
Anambra is a State blessed with many illustrious sons and daughters, some of whom have showed interest in the 2021 Governorship election. Most of them have something that makes them attractive to the seat of Governor. Notable amongst them are industrialists, academicians, and technocrates.
Interestingly, the buzz about their candidature has drawn discussions in many fora, with people wishing to know more about each candidate and what he has to bring to the table. While this is happening, majority of Anambrians have made their choice as to whom to support, and that choice is Dr. Godwin Maduka. They have their reasons, some of which we shall be sharing in this message.
For the undecided members of the masses, their question begging for answer is what disntinguishes Dr. Maduka from other aspirants and why should anyone consider him the best amongst all?
The truth is that, it was not out of place to describe Dr. Godwin Maduka as a round peg in a round hole, meaning he is the perfect match for the position of Governor of Anambra State.
Firstly, it is true that governance is about impacts, and on record, amogst all the aspirants, non has a better understanding of the people and has made as much impact as Dr. Maduka. As a man of impacts, he understands the heartbeat of the masses.
Secondly, Dr. Maduka has deep grasp of both global and local style of leadership. He is an excellent adminstrator, a seasoned technocrate, a scholarly academician, a successful industrialist, and a huge philantropist, perhaps the only aspirant with a wrap of all these qualities in one.
Thirdly, Dr. Maduka is a man known for his hard work and integrity, such that no blemish of any kind is traced to his name.
In fact, some people have come out to say that he is too clean to meddle into politics. These set of persons, out of love for Dr. Maduka, have advised that he stay away from Nigeria politics, which they say is dirty, considering that he has everything anyone would ask for. He has a good name, enormous wealth and indeed the fame. But Dr. Maduka is a man driven by passion to change Anambra into the envy of many States. He understands the dangers of politics and in fact appreciates the concerns and love from those that have voiced out their fears. However, one of the reasons Dr. Maduka is getting into politics is so that things will get better for the masses.
Proverbs 29 (2) rightly puts it this way, when the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.
The desire of Dr. Godwin Maduka is for the people of Anambra to rejoice in good governance. This is why he has come up with an all encompasing 10 point agenda that will focus on Health, Agriculture, Education, Tourism and Infrastructure, Technology and Digital Economy, Religious Tolerance, Transportation, Security, Energy and Waste Management.
"My ambition and aspiration to govern Anambra State is Divine and borne out of selfless desire and unyielding determination to serve and see my State regain it's rightful position in the comity of States. Nevertheless, this is exclusively dependent on God as the ultimate Kingmaker who can decide who becomes the next Governor through the informed choices of Ndi Anambra. The utmost concern of Ndi Anambra in a time like this, is to have a Governor who will give Anambra the best" ~ Dr. Maduka.
