This
is easily the most heavily armed and sophisticated aircraft in the
history of the Nigerian air force for a light attack aircraft, which is
melodramatic. Imagine having a 4th gen aircraft's with such incredible
array of weaponry.
The
Nigerian contract included the supply of mission planning systems,
mission debrief systems, ground training devices, spares, ground support
equipment, and infrastructure as well as contractor logistics support
for three years and five field service representatives in Nigeria
The first Embraer/SNC A-29B Super Tucano light attack aircraft for Nigeria made its maiden flight on 16 April 2020.
