This is easily the most heavily armed and sophisticated aircraft in the history of the Nigerian air force for a light attack aircraft, which is melodramatic. Imagine having a 4th gen aircraft's with such incredible array of weaponry.

The Nigerian contract included the supply of mission planning systems, mission debrief systems, ground training devices, spares, ground support equipment, and infrastructure as well as contractor logistics support for three years and five field service representatives in Nigeria

The first Embraer/SNC A-29B Super Tucano light attack aircraft for Nigeria made its maiden flight on 16 April 2020.
