Wife of Kwara State Governor, Mrs Olufolake AbdulRazaq on Thursday gave succour to Mr Soliu Afeez Adebiyi, father of the premature triplets who are presently on admission at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH), Ilorin.
While the mother of the triplets is still on admission at Offa General Hospital where she was delivered of the premature triplets through cesarian section on Monday, the First Lady made the donation of N150,000 to the father of the babies through her Director of Protocol, Mr Hassan Raphael Kolawole, at the UITH.
According to the State Publicity Secretary of APC, Alhaji Tajudeen Folaranmi Aro who brought the plight of the parents of the triplets to the attention of the Kwara State First Lady,  Mrs AbdulRazaq should be commended for the act of kindness bestowed on the family on time.
” When the father of these triplets together with some emissaries knocked on my gate at about 3.00am this morning , I panicked because I was wondering who could be at my gate at such odd hours.
” I eventually allowed them in . He narrated his plight and the urgent need to refer the kids to UITH. Unfortunately, the ambulance at Offa General Hospital is grounded, an arrangement for a private ambulance had to be made urgently to convey the kids to ilorin,” Folaranmi added.
Also present at the hospital during the presentation was the Kwara Central Senatorial Women Leader, Hajia Tawakalitu Shola Agaka, who said the plight of the less privilege in the society has always been the motivation for concern from cthe First Lady, thanking Mrs AbdulRazaq for her donation to the Adebiyis.
