IGP Mohammed Adamu, Abubakar Malami, Ooni Of Ife, Pauline Tallen Nominated For 2020 Democracy Heroes Award


As Nigerians anticipates the forthcoming 2020 edition of the prestigious Democracy Heroes Awards, the organising committee for the ceremonial award event has continue to nominate outstanding personalities who have performed significantly in their various public offices. Few days ago, the Inspector General of Police, the Attorney General of Federation, Women Affair Minister, Pauline Tallen and the Ooni of Ife were nominated as Award Recipients ahead of the 14th October 2020 Award event

Members of the Organising committee for the Power of Togetherness Edition of Democracy Heroes Award has visited the nominees to officially present their nomination certicate ahead of the 14th October ceremony. From reports gathered by AbujaPress, the Team were received few days ago at the Ooni of Ife Palace and were given a warm reception by the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II. He was nominated as the Imperial Royal Father of the Year for Democracy Heroes Awards.

They had also visited IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, the Inspector General of Police and was presented the  award nomination Certificate for Outstanding Service of the Year. The nomination Certificate was officially presented to him at Force Headquarters in Abuja. IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu assured them of his continuous interest in upholding responsive democracy through his office.

According to reports, the organising Committee of Democracy Heroes Awards did also nominate Abubakar Malami, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, the honourable Minister for Justice and Attorney General of Nigeria. Abubakar Malami SAN, received his nomination at his Office on Abuja, when Members of the Organising committee visited him and presented the nomination certificate as Best Minister of the Year.

The visitation and presentation of Nomination Certificates to Nominees by the Organising Team of Democracy Heroes Award was led by it Principal Executive and Project Director, Mr. Alexander Ajagbonna. While speaking to AbujaPress Correspondent, Alexander Ajagbonna stated that the nominations were strictly on merit and performance.

However DHA has remained one of the most reputable, distinguished and prestigious awards in Nigeria. It has honoured and recognised several notable personalities in Nigeria, cutting across all sectors and industries. It's forthcoming Power of Togetherness Edition will be hosted at Transcorp Hilton Hotel on the 14th of October 2020 and will witness the distinguished presence of reputable personalities in Nigeria.
