DHAA 2021: Dave Umahi beats Wike, Bagudu, Fayemi, Darius to emerge Iconic Governor of the year

 

As Nigeria continues a countdown ahead of the prestigious Democracy Heroes Awards 2021 themed "Unity the Alternative for Peace", Nominations ahead of the award have continue to roll in. Few hours ago the Executive Governor of Ebonyi State, HE Dave Umahi emerged Winner of Iconic Governor of Year Awards after beating four Governors in the contest, which was decided by votes from Nigerians.



According to reports, Governor Umahi had beaten HE Gov. Nyesome Wike of Rivers State, Governor John Olukayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, HE Gov. Darius Dickson Ishaku, of Taraba State and HE Gov. Abubakar Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State. According to reports, Governor Umahi wil be honoured with the distinguished 2021 Iconic Governor of the Year at the forthcoming DHAA2021.


While reacting to the emergence o, the Executive Governor of Ebonyi state, HE Dave Umahi as the Winner of the Award Category of "Iconic Governor of the Year", the Principal Executive Director of DHAA 2021, expressed the organisation's congratulatory gesture, stressing that his nomination was premised on his outstanding performance m, especially in his leadership style and administrative approach.



The Award event of Democracy Heroes Awards is organised by Face of Democracy Organization, one of the leading Crusaders of Democracy in Nigeria. The 2021 edition has been organised to support the improvement of peace and unity, as a basis for sustainable development in the democratic structure of Nigeria.
