Loud Ovation As Maduka Storms Birthday Celebration Of Sir Dr. Josephat Kanayo

 

The "Onwa Obeledu" of Anambra State and renowned Engineer, Sir Dr. Josephat Kanayo Okoye, the "Dike Eji Eje Mba of Anaocha" has turned plus one in an amazing and colourful birthday celebration held at Obeledu in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State, few moments ago in the 24th of July 2021.


The ceremonial birthday celebration of Sir Dr. Josephat Kanayo Okoye was graced with the affluent presence of Dr. Godwin Maduka, a triple Professor of Medicine, a Philanthropist, Politician, Medical Doctor and a leading frontline Candidate in the forthcoming Governorship election in Anambra state.

According to Anambra Update, the arrival of Dr. Godwin Maduka to the birthday occasion of  Sir Dr. Josephat Kanayo Okoye really stirred up a quite loud ovation, as myriads of people expressed overwhelming joy at the appearance of their Governor in-wait. On arrival, Dr. Maduka congratulated the Celebrant who has been a good and close friend over the years.


Speaking with our Reporter, Maduka thanked God for the grace of a new age for his friend and brother, as he wished him more graceful years ahead. They had several photoshoots together, as well as with other guests and specially invited Personalities, who also graced the occasion.

Sir Dr. Josephat Kanayo Okoye was born in the 1940s in Obeledu, Anaocha LGA of Anambra State in Nigeria. Owning up to life as an Orphan at thirteen years, Sir. Dr. Josephat remained commited to success through the earnest support of his elder brother Chief G.U Okoye. He had his Alma mater at St. Paul’s Obeledu and St. Andrew’s Adazi Nnukwu, after which he got admission into the College of Immaculate Conception, CIC, Enugu, and went to CKC for higher school. 


He travelled out of Nigeria on scholarship to the United States of America, where he attended Purdue University in Indiana on scholarship and thereafter had his Masters and Doctorate at California Institute of Technology in Civil Engineering, with specialization in Water Resources. Sir Josephat worked and practiced in the US as a Consulting Engineer with a Consulting and Engineering firm, called Lindson and Juwelts and other firms in San Francisco and Boston, Massachusetts before returning to Nigeria to establish his own firm.
