The chairman Ngodo village Mbaukwu and chairman Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Alumni Association Awka branch, Hon. Agwata Chukwuemeka has congratulated the newly sworn in Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Gilbert Ibezim on his inauguration in office on Thursday.
The state Governor, Prof. Charles Soludo and his deputy, Ibezim in a brief ceremony on Thursday took their oath of office and oath of allegiance in Awka.
They were declared winner in the November 6, 2021 governorship election in the state by the INEC after polling the highest number of votes.
Congratulating the Deputy governor on Thursday, Hon. Chukwuemeka, who is also the Director Emmycliff Infrastructural and Properties Ltd expressed confidence that the new leadership in the state will usher in a fresh beginning for the people.
He said the Deputy governor, Mr. Ibezim is a man of outstanding integrity and character who has recorded several milestones as a businessman and a technocrats before venturing into politics.
"I congratulate His Excellency, Gilbert Ibezim on his inauguration. He has remained a shinning star who has made enormous contributions in serving his people selflessly.
"For we his kinsmen in Mbaukwu, Awka South local government area of Anambra, we are not surprised that he attained such an enviable height.
"I am confident that with such a combination in helm of affairs in our dear state, it would be a great beginning for our people. I cannot but wish the new leadership well in their efforts to reposition the state" Hon. Chukwuemeka stated.
