OMC Hails Oba Ewuare II On Looted Artifacts Returned To Benin Kingdom

 As the entire Benin Kingdom and Nigeria celebrates the return of looted artefacts, Omalizz Multi Concept Nigeria Limited has expressed heartfelt congratulations to His Royal Majesty, Oba Ewuare II and His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR for their role and commitments towards ensuring the return of artifacts stolen from Nigeria since 1897. The congratulatory message was contained in a statement by the MD/CEO of Omalizz Multi Concept Nigeria Limited, Elizabeth Omale few hours ago on Tuesday while addressing newsmen in Benin, the capital city of Edo state.

While speaking on behalf of the entire board and management of Omalizz Multi Concept Nigeria Limited, Elizabeth Omale noted that her organization is indeed happy with emphasis on the auspicious and historic event, stressing that it was huge and significant to the great people of Benin Kingdom.

She however hailed and praised HRM Oba Ewuare II, stating that they are immensely proud of him. She says, "Long Live the great King, Oba ghato kpere iseee". The looted artefact was returned back to the great Benin Kingdom after 125years. Elizabeth Omale also appreciated the UK colleges for their  sincerity and mutual consideration by accepting to return the artefacts belonging to Benin Kingdom. 

According to reports, celebrations are yet ongoing across several communities in Edo State. The Benin Kingdom had received two of the artefacts looted in 1897 during the British invasion. The infamous Benin Expedition was regarded as a penal expedition by British forces. The bronze artefact, Cockerel known as Okukor, was returned to the kingdom by Jesus College of the Cambridge University, England.
