Dr Nwoko Ascribes Oborevwori's Supreme Court Victory To The Beauty Of Democracy

By Patrick Ochei

The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Health Monitoring and Coordinator of the State Health Monitoring Team, Dr. Michael Nwoko has said that the Supreme Court victory of the PDP Governorship Candidate for 2023 election, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori was descriptive of the nature and beauty of democracy.

The PDP faithful who spoke in Asaba immediately after the news of Oborevwori's winning filtered into town, affirmed that the supremacy of the party had been magnified in an atmosphere of freedom of party men and women to exercise their rights to logical conclusions.

He congratulated the Right Honourable Speaker for the well deserved victory, while admonishing him to immediately settle down for the job ahead.

Nwoko however, advised Olorogun David Edevbie to as a strong party man, take the contest as an unbiased ingredient of democracy and work with his brother, Sheriff as a family to retain the state for PDP in 2023.

"I must align myself with the statement of our Candidate, Mr. Sheriff Oborevwori, that there is no Victor no Vanquished from the verdict of the Supreme Court today".

"Let's just take the judgement as a justifiable display of democracy and move on gallantly to surmount the battle ahead. We all won; the party won. Let's all rejoice together", he advised".

Nwoko further posited that there is no space for opposition in the State, not now nor in the future, thereby urging all and sundry to work in synergy to once again retain power at the Dennis Osadebey House.
